What we do not collect

The app contains no advertising software and no analytics or crash-reporting software. We do not collect your contacts, your calendar, your precise location, your SMS messages, or the files on your device outside what you choose to attach. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal data.

2. How we use it

We do not use your personal data to train AI models, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. KUNOBOT, the AI coach

When you send a message to KUNOBOT, the text of that message is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, which generates the reply and returns it to us. Your name, email address and account identifiers are not sent with it. Your conversation history is stored in your account so you can return to it, and you can delete a conversation at any time from inside the app. Please do not send information to the coach that you would not want processed by a third-party AI service.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that make the product work, and only with what they need to do their job. Each is bound to use it for that purpose alone.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our members or of us. If the business is ever sold or transferred, personal data may be part of what transfers, and this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

5. Where your data is held

Our providers operate servers in the European Union and the United States, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it is transferred under the safeguards those laws require, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, to remember preferences such as your theme, and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing them signs you out.

7. How long we keep it

8. Deleting your account and your data

You can request deletion at any time at https://ku-no.com/delete-account, or from Account → Request deletion inside the app. You will be asked to sign in and to confirm your handle. We remove your profile, your content, your messages and your progress. Records we are legally required to keep, such as proof of a purchase, are retained for the period the law requires and are not used for anything else. You can also write to hello@ku-no.com and we will action the request.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to withdraw consent you have given. Write to hello@ku-no.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law.

10. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, and the app is configured to refuse unencrypted connections. Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, but if a breach ever affects your personal data we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

11. Children

The KU/NO Circle is for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to hello@ku-no.com and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
